Body Life

Greetings again from Yaounde, Cameroon. We have just finished our annual World Team Conference and are awaiting vacation time at the beach in Kribi, Cameroon. We have enjoyed hanging out with other families and practicing 'being the body' in practical ways. The main focus of our conference this year was helping one of our missionary families move all their belongings down from a city 6 hours north of here to Yaounde where they will begin a new ministry to the students of Rainforest International School.

The men made the trip over Friday and Saturday, returning late on Saturday evening, while the women stayed back and did a banner cleanup job on their new house. The long ride provided a time for the guys ample time to talk and connect a bit deeper. All of our families have been enriched by this time of community.

The kids were especially pleased. Combined, we have 11 kids ranging from 2 years through the teens. There was also a birthday party for our teammates daughter, Nandry, who turned 7. It was a great time to have a party.
We have personally enjoyed the coorporate worship and sharing with others. Did I say that it has been an enriching time?

Sunday, we had lunch at the French Club in Yaounde. Afterwards we had some fun in the sun.
Until next time . . .

Nice pictures! We thought Brendan was so funny jumping into the kiddie pool and going underwater, then coming up again with a smile on his face, instead of a look of terror that most kids have when they go under. And he did it over and over again! Love you guys!
